  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 eggs
  • 1 cup bananas
  • 1-1/2 cup all purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 cup Guinness stout
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup walnut
  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • 1 cup confectioners sugar
    Seasonings
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp allspice
  • 1/4 tsp cloves
  • 3/4 tsp ginger
  • 1/2 tlbs cocoa
  • 1/8 tsp cardamom

    Steps for Completion
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  2. Cream together the sugar, 1 tlbs of butter, egg, banana, and vanilla extract.
  3. Sift the flour and baking soda in another bowl. Add the rest of the seasonings.
  4. Alternating between flour and beer, mix into the creamed mixture.
  5. Stir in chocolate chips and walnuts.
  6. Pour into bread pan and bake for about an hour.
  7. Sift the confectioners sugar and blend together softened cream cheese and rest of the butter (2 tlbs). Spread this frosting on the bread when cooled.
